Meet Lemholt x Luxwho
The friendship between Swedish photographer Hannah Lemholt, and Dutch visionary Creative Director, Carissa Wyten, has led to a beautiful working relationship. Here at The Regular Works, we know all about friendships leading to business partnerships, so it struck a chord when we met, by chance, on a flower farm in the middle of Sussex late this summer.

Hannah and Carissa have recently come together to create visually stunning work, which has taken them around the world, working on all manner of projects, from global fashion campaigns, to creative direction for high end editorial shoots. They are known for their minimal, pared back aesthetic, which, again like us, has been described as Scandi - Asian, or what's sometimes referred to as "Japandi" style
Hannah is the uber talented photographer in the duo, who describes herself as having "Swedish roots in English soil". Her Scandi background informs everything she does, and her evocative imagery has a dreamlike quality, where imagination and reality intertwine. We love her poetic visual storytelling.
Carissa is a Dutch Creative Director who spent decades working in luxury press, publishing, styling and retail before setting up her communications company, Luxwho. Having worked for the likes of Net-A-Porter, Harper's Bazaar and Marie Claire, she knows a thing or two about the ever changing field of luxury fashion.
We instantly knew they understood our aesthetic at The Regular, so decided to collaborate on a shoot together. We love the result, and hope you do too.
Over coffee, we chatted...
How did you two meet?
Carissa: We both live in Brighton and have sons the same age. When we met, we felt an instant synergy across our creative pursuits, neutral aesthetics, holistic parenting and conscious living
What is it that makes the partnership work?
Hannah: For me, Carissa's high energy, especially in the pre-shoot part of the work, such as getting people and spaces together, is a perfect compliment to the way I work. It balances my, perhaps more calm energy, which I believe, comes across in the later part of the work - the 'photo's. Together, I think that makes for such a great combination. Balance is a beautiful thing!
What do you love about "The Regular"
Carissa: Coastal living to us, means daily mindfulness and sea meditations, but this comes with the acceptance of a daily subjection to raw elements and coastal breezes. My "The Regular" Quilted jacket has been a saviour in this most questionable British summer and autumn, and I'm still wearing it now as we approach the British winter. The fact that so many of their items are seasonless is something I really love about the brand.
You both own "The Regular" pieces. Which are your favourites and what do you love about them?
Hannah: I find that my large totes are the bags I use the most after having a child, whereas my smaller bags spend most of their time, in all honesty, waiting in the closet to come out for a party or going out to dinner. I feel that before I had "The Regular Works" Calico Quilty, these totes were always a compromise on style. This one not only holds EVERYTHING but has such beautiful lines, colour and structure that there is no such thing as hiding in the closet when unused. It's hanging as a complimentary piece off the corner of an art board of treasured fashion prints in our hallway, the colour being that absolutely perfect soft, pearl off white
And what do you have your eye on?
Carissa: Having an avid eye for design and architectural lines, I'm naturally drawn to the black leather "Pioneer Tote". It is so well crafted, with simple a design and would be a forever piece to cherish.
Hannah: Speaking of balance, I now have my eye on the black linen version of the same supersized Quilty. And because of that beautifully padded look, I also keep eyeing the "Quilt Pocket". I'd have a hard time choosing between the calico and the black one. Oh, and there's that deep brown colour, too...
